Easter Reflections
I was thinking this year how we should be celebrating the new life of Christ in and through us, every day and in every part of our lives, not just on one day. As Church planters, we don't yet have a building where we call our "Church". So, what's great about that is that we become very intentional about living out our lives, AS the church, as the body of Christ. Every facet of our lives is dedicated to being Christ by loving others, meeting needs, serving, being in community, etc... It's an exciting place to be!
This Easter we had such a great time! We had about 14 people at our house for Easter Lunch on Sunday celebrating new life by eating and getting to know new friends and families. The day after Easter we had another special lunch with a dear family God has brought us together with. The whole weekend was a beautiful time of opening up our home to others, being Christ through hospitality and building community by getting to know others while we allow them to get to know us. What an awesome way to celebrate the new life of Christ in and through us! Happy Easter season to you all!

Spring is here!!
From Surviving to Thriving
When you have a newborn, and you're living and doing ministry in another culture, sometimes it feels like you're just surviving. But lately, we can feel that shift from surviving to thriving, and it feels good!
Here is a list of exciting ministry things we have going on. As you read the list, can you be praying with us for how God has worked and continues to work here in Croatia! It's exciting!!

- We're doing a prayer walk in the center of town with our team and partners to pray for the city and look for a space to rent for a cafe/community center/thrift store
- Dave continues to read the word every week with an awesome group of Christian men
- Betsy leads a bible study and support group for International and Croatian moms
- She also leads a weekly young adult Croatian women bible study
- Dave is still playing basketball on Monday nights and is building good relationships with guys
- We have a Movie Game/Night on Thursdays for young adults
- Our team works with impoverished Gypsy communities during the week
- We're partnering with other ministries in Zagreb, specifically with orphanages and English tutoring
- We have a large group coming this summer from Scotland to do ministry and experience Croatian culture - we're planning a time where they will come do English tutoring at some nearby Gypsy communities.

Prayer Requests and Praises
- For us as we seek to find a good Croatian public 1st grade for JJ for next year and specifically the right teacher for him!
- For our National partners and our team as we actively look for a space where we can begin "community center" activities. We've recently had help from another non-profit in helping us find a space and also providing financial support.
- For our family as we learn to adjust to a family of 4!!
